Meet your Inspector
Hello! I am Cory Sullivan, the owner and inspector of Spotlight Home Inspections. Over the last several years I have found passion in helping clients to find the good, bad, and ugly with homes during the buying/selling process.
The gratification and happiness of being able to give assurance or direction during such a big life decision cannot be put into words.
A little about myself, I was born and raised in a small town in Central Pennsylvania. Being a father is one of my greatest accomplishments in life. Other than time with my children and work, I enjoy beach days, boating, fishing, metal detecting, range time, woodworking, get togethers, and live music/concerts.
I began gaining experience in the construction industry in my early adult years. I transitioned into a eight year role in the fire safety and prevention industry. Upon leaving this industry I moved to the beautiful North Carolina Coast with my children and began a career as a Real Estate broker along with operating a small handyman company. With all the experience and lessons learned, I realized being a Home Inspector was my calling.
I became a licensed home inspector with the state of North Carolina and founded SHI in 2020. I have then since held my license in good standing with the NCHILB and carry a accredited Certified Professional Inspector membership with the largest International association of home inspectors (InterNachi).
I strive to further my education on a continuous basis, gaining more knowledge and expertise to further assist my clients.
